Marqués de Mudela Palace: Classic and traditional style in terms of concept design, being faithful to the history of this building. A static lighting is proposed, which evokes the perennial and stable as its own architectural character communicates. This building reflects one of the great values of Bankinter, which has been in existence for more than 50 years and therefore generates trust.
There are contrasts for the correct reading of the facades, which will be soft and subtle.
Respecting to the maximum the materials and architectural elements, since it is a protected building. Using the latest technologies and maximum integration of
luminaires on the façade, thoroughly studying the construction details so that the visual impact of the luminaires during the day is minimal.
Moneo y Bescós Building: built in the 70s, it continues to evoke a feeling of modernity with a refined style. Completes the vision of Bankinter’s own character; pioneering, exceptional at all times and looking to the future.
Dynamic lighting is proposed, at certain times of the night, where the movements in the façade and in the color tones will be delicate and elegant.
The negative lighting contrast, where the interior is illuminated and the façade dark, intentionally reflects a more theatrical and strong character with a reading of the
contrasting architecture.
Absolute respect for the protected façade, so there is no installation or wiring of any kind outside the façade. The installation of this proposal is carried out inside the building and from the nearby roofs. Special mention to the importance of sustainability taken into account, where there is zero light pollution in this proposal, energy savings compared to traditional technologies and therefore less carbon emission.
By giving the hours, we turned the building into a clock, reminding the world that at Bankinter they are the fastest and most decisive, always one step
ahead of others. The lighting of the Moneo building remains static during most of the night, joining that of the Palace of the Marqués de
Mudela, but at the hour on the dot, something happens… Subtle movement and tonality changes in color indicate that another hour has passed, highlighting the
importance of time.
For this solution, we propose two options, one that is more conservative but visually powerful, acting on the windows of the building. The second option
involves acting on the entire façade. This option also allows us not only to communicate Bankinter’s values, but also to connect with the world
by showing solidarity with important events.
With this proposal, the dream of every company is achieved by becoming a reference icon in the city.
