Tripoli, capital of Libya, is a city with a lot of history, culture, various types of population, security problems in certain areas, and a lot to be done. After having studied for months what the city and its people have to offer, and its past, the Master Lighting Plan was realized. Before the lighting strategy, an in-depth study of the historical and urban evolution over the centuries was also carried out, current study of the composition of all streets and areas, and study of the current situation of its electrical infrastructure. With all this information, a lighting strategy was created according to the plans of the City, solving its problems and future aspirations. A short, medium and long term action plan was created for its implementation. This lighting plan was created based on the creation of different environments with different user experiences, according to the type of streets, size, traffic, area where they are located etc. Several unique spaces, buildings and monuments were also treated, creating specific tourism routes to promote the City.
