Who am I
Background
I ’m a devoted architectural and independent lighting designer and light is my passion. My name is Marta Coda Muradás and I am MCM Lighting. I am currently living in Madrid working as a freelance. I was born in Spain, travelled a lot and lived in several countries.
With 13 years of work experience in lighting design, mostly working for Light Cibles and lately for Citelum US and Citelum Spain. I had the opportunity to participate and lead amazing projects from concept to installation. Most of the projects I have been involved in were exterior lighting projects; lighting master plans, urban realm, modern & heritage architecture and landscape. I have also participated in interior projects such as hotels, restaurants and residential. I am familiar with lighting norms from different countries.
**The Certified Lighting Designer (CLD) certification is the first evidence-based certification in architectural lighting design in the world. The certification process is designed to assess whether an individual is able to operate as a lead architectural lighting designer in a professional and proficient manner.
